  • Assist and support Marketing Event Manager with large demand generation campaigns.

System Administrator ( June, 1996 to October, 1996)

  • System Administration of the SCO UNIX HP server which ran the Emery Worldwide Ocean Shipping System. Installed PCs, printers and network hardware, configured PCs and network hardware in offices on the East Coast to enable access to the SCO UNIX server in Scranton, PA.
  • Developed and implemented weekly system backup and shutdown. Documented various procedures, including addition of new users and their security levels and process steps prior to and during new office installations. Developed network schematics for these installations.

  • Key member of team which implemented a community wide computerized patient record. This substantial project encompassed the evaluation of hardware, software, and network hardware and protocols. Logistics Coordinator for installation of fiber optic network. Assisted in migration of data from IBM RISC 6000 to VAX R4000X.
  • System Manager responsible for test phase of implementation for new clinical/financial software system. Coordinated project which incorporated training, user support and extensive software maintenance. Liaison between all hospital departments and software company.
  • Responsible for VAX Cluster, its utilities, devices and network communication software and terminal emulation software.

Programmer/Analyst

  • Co-coordinator of Financial Aid conversion which includes analysis and conversion of IBM data into SCT BANNER software on the VAX. Responsible for data mapping, population of both validation tables and rules tables, and loading, testing and verification of data. Responsible for new enhancements to the software, designing and creating new reports not included in the software.
  • Assisted in the process of migrating the General Student System consisting of the in-house software on the IBM 4381 to SCT Banner on the VAX 6510.
